The Story of a Frunky Feeling
Frunky was born out of a void. An empty space under the hood. And an insufficiently understood need in the automotive accessories market.
From our passion for electric cars, we dreamed of transforming the unused space under the hood into a smart space that we can use efficiently and comfortably. We have created a front boot that offers functional storage solutions, ideal for keeping your charging cable, but which also takes into account the aesthetic criterion for the first time. First premium frunk design – so that when you lift the hood you have a Frunky feeling.
We started with Dacia Spring, we continued with Hyundai Kona and we are working every day to expand the range of front trunks, so that everyone who drives an electric car can feel that Frunky feeling.
The product is designed and manufactured in Romania, meets all technical and safety requirements and is registered with OSIM and EUIPO.

I can say that I was impressed, the word I had in mind was "wow". I can't believe how good it looks, how good it's done in the sense that you say it's from there, that it's original. If Dacia had delivered Spring with a frunk instead of that empty and useless space, that's exactly what it would have looked like. They look profi, like frunks from any above-average electric car, like Tesla. The installation is extremely simple, it also comes with a photo instruction sheet, it is practically put in place and it is fixed in four clips in the holes existing on the machine.

01. Safety
Are there any risks to heating or cooling the engine or battery?
Mounting the frunk does not affect the cooling of the engine or battery. The Frunky team has been conducting temperature tests for over 2 years in all seasons and there have been no temperature rises.
Is water coming into Frunky?
Frunky is made of plastic so that any water splashes that may occur when driving in the rain or wet roads will not reach your luggage. Chederes offered for free with each Frunky hermetically insulate the hood against water and dust, protecting objects inside including the car wash.
Is my car warranty affected?
Frunky does not affect the functionality of the machine in any way and does not require any modification, so there is no reason why you would lose the warranty. However, for a better performance of the periodical overhaul, we recommend dismantling the Frunky before the service visits. Dismantling and mounting is very simple.

How to mount Frunky?
Frunky can be easily mounted at home. The clamping is done in 10 points, using the clips from the mounting kit. For a better insulation of the Frunky, we offer you a bonnet seal for free.

What's Frunky's volume?
Frunky gives you an extra storage space of around 40 litres.
How strong is Frunky?
Frunky is made of durable and rigid material and rests on the car body, which allows heavy luggage storage without affecting its shape. The ideal role for which the Frunky concept was designed is for storing accessories such as charging cables, sanitary kit, reflective triangle, thus freeing up space in the trunk.

How long before Frunky gets here?
We deliver Frunky throughout the country within 3 working days. We also take orders from abroad, in partnership with the local post office, but the wait will be worth it, we guarantee you!
If I don't like Frunky, can I return him?
If (unlikely) you do not like Frunky, you can return it within 30 days, but only if the product has no trace of wear. The cost of return shipping will be borne by the customer. If you have any concerns after receiving Frunky, do not hesitate to contact us and we can gladly assist you.
